Mission & Vision

Mission

To mitigate the double burden of poverty and poor access to quality health care in regions where health systems have either collapsed or are in crisis through the provision of emergency medical care, general and public health services and capacity building.

Vision

AAI will achieve its mission by continually building and enhancing its humanitarian relief capability. The manner in which this will be achieved will be through People, Planning and Partnerships.

The true strength of AAI lies in its people. Quality people are, and always will be the medium through which AAI will deliver the highest quality of humanitarian relief. AAI will expand its team of committed and skilled individuals who now form the backbone of its current organisational structure.

To support these teams, AAI will utilise best practices in governance, operational planning and infrastructure. With rapid decision making as the cornerstone of its operational response, AAI will deliver outcomes well out of proportion to its relative effort.

AAI continually strives to seek out and foster relationships with other individuals and organisations in order to utilise and build upon its developing network of partners and alliances and further enhance its international capability.

It is also our vision that AAI will become recognised internationally as a humanitarian stakeholder with a reputation for providing relief and assistance well outside the scope and capability of similar organisations and be amongst the first tier organisations in the delivery of humanitarian outcomes anywhere in the world.
